The Coloradas
Las Coloradas is a small fishing port located on the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. There is vegetation typical of the coastal dunes and mangroves grow that make up an extraordinary ecosystem, especially at the confluence of the salty marine waters and the laminar drainage of the peninsular water table, which emerges in the region.
Its virgin beaches, fauna and flora, sea birds such as pelicans and seagulls and abundant mangroves are the main attractions.
Its spectacular pink color is due to its high concentration of salt, microorganisms and the sun. The intensity of the color varies depending on the position of the sun's rays, allowing us to admire a range of colors that range from yellow and orange to the pink that characterizes it.
