Our experience with Miguel was truly amazing. He arrived at our Airbnb on time, driving a comfortable and well-maintained car. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he was very knowledgeable about the ruins, the area, and Maya history. He provided us with interesting facts and stories about the Chichen Itza ruins, Tulum and Coba cities, and the Cenotes. He also showed us around Valladolid city, which we found charming and delightful.
Miguel was very accommodating and helpful throughout the tour. As vegetarians, we were concerned about finding suitable meals, but he suggested some great vegetarian options that we thoroughly enjoyed. He went out of his way to ensure that we were satisfied with our experience and that we felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour.
Overall, we had an incredible time with Miguel, and we would definitely book another tour with him if we ever return to Cancun. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who is planning to visit Cancun and wants to have a great time exploring the area's many attractions.

Miguel took us on a full day out to chichen itza, a cenote and tulum. He was so accommodating to everything we wanted to do and found the best way for us to make sure we did it all being really thoughtful to our individual needs. Would recommend Miguel to anyone looking for a tour whether it be short or long… he’ll make it work to cover what you want to achieve! Thanks Miguel for a great day out!

Miquel is absolutely gifted with genuine heart and passion for sharing the beautiful history and culture of Mexico. Turned off by large tours with rigid agendas, we wanted something more personal and memorable. We absolutely love Miguel! We've traveled to the Yucatan a few times and reach out to Miguel and Cancun Deluxe every time. He's incredibly knowledgeable about the sites, knows the places to go, and even when we've needed to change plans last minute, he made the transition seamless. Good English is proficient, and perfect for the non -spanish speakers. We found him through our concierge during our first trip, and keep using him. He's honestly the best!

It would be impossible to say enough good stuff about Miguel. To say he was an amazing guide is simply not enough. He, of course, took us to see things. However, his conversation, recommendations, flexibility, and mini adventures were what made our time with him over the top!
Let's start with communication. Before we even arrived in the country he had amazing communication and we were able to connect on WhatsApp to make sure the conversation easily continued when we arrived. Each day (we did two days with him) he made it easy to plan and arrange times and such.
How about the "guide" part? Miguel's knowledge of the Mayan people and the sites around the area were second to none. He has done continuing education with speciality classes in Mayan history. We learned so much and the fact that him and my wife took history in college made them two peas in a pod! Whether you are just looking for the basic explanations or want to dive deep into a topic, Miguel has you covered!! Also, in addition to going to the "regular stuff", Miguel also took us to some amazing cenotes that barely had anyone there and we got to explore absolutely stunning caves. He went out of his way to make sure we had photos of us going through the cenotes.
Want to take a detour to check something out? No problem! Miguel will adjust and make sure you can check out whatever catches your eye. Also, don't be surprised if you mention you like something and he comes back with a little side adventure option that relates to it. Not only were we able to find a local craft beer brewery to check out, but we had the best octopus tacos ever at a little shop we hit up for lunch one day. His local food recommendations when we weren't with him were outstanding.
If you are looking for the absolute best guide and adventures possible, do yourself a favor and book with Miguel. We travel frequently to different countries and Miguel has made our top 10 guide list for sure!
